When it comes to business transformation, Dan doesn’t just talk the talk.

He’s walked the walk. As the former Chief Digital Officer at The Travel Corporation, one of the world’s largest and oldest travel brands, Dan was responsible for leading the group’s 40 travel brands – including Trafalgar, Contiki, Insight Vacations, and more – through a massive digital transformation. This transformation was driven by a deep understanding of consumer behavior, wants and needs.

Dan also held progressive director-level roles at G Adventures, Points and Lonely Planet, where he was responsible for overseeing marketing, e-commerce and digital products.

Prior to his corporate life, Dan was an entrepreneur. He founded a successful startup, and credits its success in part to his ability to tell their story in a way that engaged and excited customers.

Today, he’s the the host of the ‘Travel Trends’ podcast, a sought after speaker and a trusted advisor for many startups and companies.

Dan is also the host of the podcast Travel Trends, has launched several of his own ventures, and is an advisor and investor for many startups. Dan regularly takes to the stage to inspire audiences around the world about topics like business transformation, adapting to change, consumer behaviour, marketing, storytelling and brand.

On a personal note, Dan has traveled extensively with his wife and their twin children, visiting over 50 countries together as a family, and learning about history along the way. He’s also an avid baseball fan and has coached his son’s baseball team for years. Finally, Dan has a long-seated love for snowboarding and, in fact, founded his first startup to support the snowboarding community.
